Travel Through Time on the Magical Art Time Machine

June 6 - August 4, 2011

All instruction is age appropriate
& each week will include drawing, painting & 3-D art!

Only $95.00 per week/per child!
Morning Sessions (9am - 12pm) ages 5-8
Afternoon Sessions (1pm - 4pm) ages 9-14

Session 1: June 6 - 10
Futuristic
Aliens are around when you travel to futuristic worlds of your imagination!
Art encounters with aliens, space ships and cosmic creatures - anything is possible!

Session 2: June 13 - 17
Prehistoric
Let's recreate a couple of pet dinosaurs and caveman paintings through the prehistoric era!
We'll have a Jurassic Park experience!

Session 3: June 20 - 24
Egypt
Travel to the Age of the Pharaohs and imagine being in the presence of the pyramids, walking around the Sphinx and discovering the Pharaohs' treasures!!

Session 4: June 27 - July 1
Greece
Ulysses and his team will lead you through an exploration of the ancient Grecian land and help you escape the Cyclopes, singing sea mermaids and Medusa's glare!

Session 5: July 11 - 15
Rome
A Coliseum full of Romans will great you, an Art Gladiator!
Come and learn about the Roman Empire, conquering the world of Art!

Session 6: July 18 - 22
Medieval
Medieval times invite you to an artistic tournament!
Will you be a Knight, King, Queen, Princess or Jester?

Session 7: July 25 - 29
Wonderland
Remember Alice in Wonderland?
How would you like to meet the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts?
Let's glimpse into the fantastic world of Lewis Carroll and create our own unique characters!

Session 8: August 1 - 5
Earth in the Future
Be a green architecture and create a future house for your family and friends! What will our world look like in the year 2525? You decide!
Let's build the future together!

Lion Dance
ArtHaus kicked off it's Summer Art Camp 2009 "East Meets West" with an exciting performance of a traditional Chinese Lion Dance by the Pai Lum Kung Fu & Tai Chi Martial Arts school in the parking lot of ArtHaus.
